Care, Learning and Development

History

Bradley Bar Private Day Nursery has been providing quality childcare in the Huddersfield, West Yorkshire region since 1990. Set in detached premises in a quiet, leafy residential area the setting is truly unique and has become a home away from home for our children. In 2000, Holly Guite purchased the business and since then the nursery has gone from strength to strength with Holly and the team caring for many children up until they begin their school career.

We hope you enjoy reading about our nursery and get a great understanding of how Bradley Bar can support you and your child through care, learning and development.

“My mission for Bradley Bar Private Day Nursery is a simple one. Myself and the team provide exciting, innovative care and education for children in a happy, healthy setting. We ensure that the learning environment is stimulating with lots of opportunities to play and engage with other children and why?

We understand how important these early years are to your child’s development and when your child moves onto the next stage of their education we want them to be responsible, strong, independent individuals.”

Our Mission

At Bradley Bar we believe ‘the value of a child’s work is not the finished product but in the journey of discovery and experience the child takes to get there.’

Our mission at Bradley Bar starts with our team. We have an enthusiastic, qualified team who strive to provide children with a happy, healthy, fun, secure, safe and stimulating setting in which to learn, play, interact and develop.

The team embrace this mission and we encourage children to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually to give them the best possible start in life.

Our Values

Every member of the team understands our values and this is evidenced through the way we care for, develop and teach your child.

  • Every child is treated as an individual
  • Each child’s character and strengths are encouraged and nurtured through communication
  • Working with and supporting parents ensures that every child reaches their full potential
  • Learning through quality play is fundamental
